Weekend Edition
all the news that’s foof to print
Another week, another weekend.
Our second annual prompted writing contest kicked off, but it's not too late to enter! If you're interested in trying your hand at writing a short story over the course of ten days, now's your chance! We are one entry away from our goal of 75, which will unlock five honorable mentions in addition to the three winners.

The Week That Was

This week's story was a smaller and softer one than what folks might be used to around these parts. No magic or sci-fi, but a reflection on newness, sameness, and deer.
This week's poem is a doozy about the sun, the stars, and human attention from Allison Burris.

Zack returned to continue his "It's not crazy, it's capitalism" cartoon series with us. Who needs plants and oxygen when you can have electricity and neon.

Then Cliff was charitable enough with this time to get a bit reflective with us.

And then just yesterday, Nick took us on a wild ride on a topic I had never heard of: speedrunning through scientology churches, which honestly, sounds hilarious.

And of course, The Media Guide, where we talked about Tony along with some crazy music and comics.
