📺 Widow's Bay Season 1 — Apple TV

New horror-comedy show from Katie Dippold, who wrote on Parks & Rec, starring the wonderful Matthew Rhys, and a killer crew of directors including Hiro Murai (Atlanta), Andrew DeYoung (The Chair Company), and Ti West (X). High, high hopes for this one.

🎬 Hokum

Adam Scott stars in this horror film from Neon about a horror writer at a haunted house. It might sound cliche, but I think this will actually be a great one.

🎵 Something Worth Waiting For by Friko

The Chicago Hallogallo indie rock scene continues to absolutely kill it. No city continues to put out great rock bands like Chicago. Not a lot of great music this week, but Friko and a couple others stood out.
