I was a presenter during a Tinderbox web meetup in February, so naturally I was all-in using Tinderbox for publishing blogs. It felt good to spend time refactoring and tweaking the Tinderbox source document. The problem was that I’d recently gotten my Kirby-based blog to a good spot, so I spent time there as well. Every time I fire up Emacs I want to use it for blog posts, so of course I sent a few to my Blot.im blog as well. By month’s end I’d been posting to four websites most days. What a mess!
A recent return to using Mutt for managing email forced (forced!) me back into using the command line in a terminal for everything. At least for a time. This is when I learned about nb, which is a cool and clever note-taking, link archiving, todo thingy all via CLI. I knew I wouldn’t stick with it going in, but it was too interesting not to try anyway. So there was a week or two in there of Mutt, Taskwarrior, NeoVim, and nb.
I had a reMarkable tablet in 2021 but sold it. I just bought another, so most of my notes have been going there. It’s a fun, nice device. It’s not paper, but it’s as close as one can get. My paper notebooks have been giving me the side eye ever since.
