The women's 3v3 basketball league, Unrivaled, kicked off last night with a killer game winner from Skylar Diggins-Smith for the Lunar Owls. They continue today with two more games. I'm really excited to see them turn this league into something special.

And tomorrow we have our special edition of RoL going out to [+] subscribers, covering the best albums of 2024 and the ones to look forward to in 2025.

But for now, here's everything we published this week.

First up this week, Consumption Gumption returned after a bit of hiatus. We have a killer line-up of guests planned this season, and we kick things off with Jason Dettbarn of Crucial Tracks.

Then, we published a delightful story about the desire to move west by Kai Holmwood.

And finally, Nick returned with his third essay, this time about art. It's safe to say we are out of pilot mode with this column and am hopeful Nick will be with us for the long run. This column holds a special place in my heart as Nick was the first one to approach me with an idea for a recurring column here—and he completely understood what we were going for with this whole thing.
