cut my life into pieces
Long time no see!
While it has been sometime, we've come back with avengence featuring five contributions from others.
My middle finger has been gushing blood for the last 30 hours after it got caught on my puppies sharp fang as she pulled away. So typing is a bit difficult. I'm really hoping I won't have to go get stitches so it's just tightly wrapped with a bandaid that I replace every six or so hours...
I'm going to get a little meta and talk about all things foofaraw, media guide, review of links, and some new shows below the fold for [+] subscribers, but for the rest of you peasants, enjoy the fabulous work from fabulous people around the worldโliterally, I'm just realizing this week we published work from NY, Japan, Portugal, England, and Utah. Not so shabby.
First up, we have Will's review of Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay. There are some references to Halloween at the end, which would've made more sense if I published on time, but the world is burning.
Then James is back with a look at some killer indie games this month. It's an area I want to lean into more with The Media Guide going forward tooโthe indie side of things, not games, because I'm clueless about games.
Nick is back with his second ADHD essay about singing and religion, coinciding perfectly with the release of Linkin Park's new record with their new singer today.
Of course, it wouldn't be foofaraw with a new Cavendish story from Joel. He writes them quicker than I can publish them which is both exciting and makes me feel a bit pathetic.
And to wrap things up for the week, we published the fifteenth issue of Garrett's webcomic The Outer, and the third part in The Possession arc.
That's it!
Even if the world is stull burning, things are looking up here in foofaraw land. Stick around, maybe, and helps us spread creativity and empathy around these interwebs.
I'll see you money bag folks below the fold. To the rest of you...
Stay sane and be kind,
