RoL Special Edition
2024 was a weird year in comics for me personally. I started the year reading via ComiXology, then gave Omnibus a try before finding a local comics shop in Napa that unfortunately closed a month later. Back to Omnibus I went, which then shutdown as well.
So here I was, with unread books on ComiXology, Omnibus, and in print. I got a little overwhelmed trying to figure which issue I left off on, in which format, resulting in me falling off a few books in order to keep my sanity.
That’s not to say I haven’t kept up with the discourse or read my fair share of great books.
So here's a break down of the ten best new books, ten best returning books, and our most anticipated new books of 2025—along with some honorable mentions, of course.
