πŸŽ‰ Weekend Edition Vol.061

liquidIV and aspirin to the rescue

I admit, it's a bit odd to be sending something out called Weekend Edition on a Tuesday, but due to some foreseen events, but poor planning, here we are... after three straight days of hangovers while enjoying myself a bit too much with wine tastings and Bottlerock here in Napa, I ended up sleeping for about 26 hours straight yesterday.

But the show must go on! And we had a really terrific short story from Megan, Diedericks and another fantastic column from The Hiro Lab. I implore you to check both out immediately.

Media Guide will be landing in your inboxes shortly as well... πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

First up this week, we had a double-header on Tuesday with two, mostly silly pieces: a new Grub comic for [+] subscribers and the first of what might become a recurring feature as we break down the opening title sequence for Murderbot on Apple TV.

Then this weeks short story was a beautiful look at dealing with death, parentage, and the lengths we go for loved ones in a sci-fi-esque fashion.

And lastly, the penultimate edition of The Hiro Lab where we get a look at the TrimUI Brick portable gaming device and all of the moral quandaries that come with receiving an SD card full of games.

Out in media guide world, we're reading Zaner Cannon's Sleep and listening to Ben Zaidi quite a bit.
