Another jam-packed week. I think we might actually be getting back into some sort of real rhythm around here finally (knock on wood.)
First up this week, I finally brought back Consumption Gumption. I was honored to have David Harper from SKTCHD and Off Panel participate (and be super patient with me). He answered these questions close to two months ago so the delay is entirely on me. A few other potential guests ghosted me after committing and I got a little lazy and haven't put together questions for the next few... But back to the interview at hand... David was incredibly thoughtful in his answers and it was great to hear about his NBA fandom (even if he's a Pacers fan π€’).
Then Will returned for an album review and went with something a little more in my wheelhouse this time around. He does a great job capturing the sound and vibe of this albumβgoing into why it's an "instant classic."
And lastly, something a little new from Tony and Abstract Tears this month. We've been toying around with a few things on Kinopio (my favorite app of all-time), which led to some world-building ideas. So I convinced him to try his hand at some sequential art as a way to slowly build a world together. I think he knocked this first one out of the park.
Of course our Monday Media Guide where some killer comics and movies (surprisingly) were featured.
And we've been continuing to improve Review of Links with every issue, so it's a great time to hop on the bandwagon and upgrade to support everything we are publishing here.
And lastly, I talked about putting together playlists for these Weekend Editions, so this if my first go at that. 12 songs to get the weekend started. Hope you enjoy.
Not a bad week, huh?
Stay sane and be kind,
