Some common tropes in opening title sequences include miniatures, building/creating things, and floating in space. We get those three in spades with Murderbot. Even still, the opening shot of Murderbot's arm being put together is a pretty striking and cool image before the camera pulls back and we see all the SEC units coming together like action figures in an assembly line.

The music, while also not very original with it's orchestral melodies and pulsating beat, fits the moment and the tropes that are already in play.

The design of the sequence is very well done and follows the story themes of Murderbot quite well. From the production of the SEC units, to the hacking of it's governors module, represented by going inside it's head and floating in an abstract psychedelic space to represent it's new found freedom. It then finds itself among a new group before having to make a decision between running off and going on it's own or sticking around and protecting the group he was assigned to accompany on it's mission.

In the end, Murderbot's opening title sequence get's an average three (out of five) rating from us, despite it's well executed design.
