The Tuesday edition

Welcome to the first new version of Review of Links where we plan to go twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday night, with a revamped format both above and below the fold that should help with readability, provide more value, and also is a bit easier to put together.
We have a lot of fun things in the oven, which are becoming increasingly difficult to hold my tongue about, but in the meantime, we've got a bunch of cool things you should check out tonight.
☝️ But first...
- Acapulco is going to get a fourth and final season on Apple TV+ in July.
- Thunderbolts has been getting solid reviews as (probably) the best Marvel movie since Endgame.
- We had a feeling this would end up being the case last week.
- Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu (Birdman) wrapped his 7 month production of his next film, Judy, with Tom Cruise, Jesse Plemens, John Goodman, and a bunch of other top tier talent. (It was supposed to take 4.5 months...) You can expect a release at the end of 2026 if things don't get even further delayed.
- Practical Magic 2 was slotted for a September 18, 2026 release date by Warner Bros. Both Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are locked in to reprise their characters.
- I watched the original for the first time a few months ago. It was fine...
- Wes Anderson's Phoenician Scheme is reportedly his best film since 2014's The Grand Budapest Hotel. It hasn't been tested yet or seen outside of the folks involved, but it's hard to not get excited about it.

🚚 Trailer of the week
I read the Revival comic a long time ago and it was a ton of fun and the perfect story for a long, on-going TV show. It's zombie-esque, but in a weird small town mystery kind of vibe that fits perfectly in the surreal kind of storytelling we love here at foofaraw.
📖 Story of the week
🏀 NBC Sports Will Use AI-Generated Voice of Jim Fagan in NBA Coverage
NBC is bringing in a legend from the ’90s when it comes to its upcoming NBA coverage. The brand will be using the AI-generated voice of late narrator Jim Fagan when it comes to league promotion and coverage once the network’s media rights agreement with the league begins in October.
But why? Just find a new voice—give someone else a chance to make something that can become iconic. The young audience they need to bring in doesn't give a hoot about Jim Fagan. Plus, they are already capturing the nostalgic vibe bringing Roundball Rock back. Isn't that enough? Maybe one day AI will be able to capture the nuances of human emotion through voice, but that day is clearly not here yet.

Below the Fold we dive into the new show from Raphael Bob-Waksberg, Lorde, the new Brubaker/Phillips book, a potential Deadpool/X-Men movie, and much more.
